Guests to go underwater in Dubai

Edinburgh News.Net Sunday 6th May, 2012

Dubai is once again considering the business of underwater hotels.

The Dubai government has put its shipbuilding division to work on a new concept that would see contemporary underwater hotels.

Drydocks World has announced it will work in conjunction with a Swiss company to furnish contracts to build the hotels.

The Swiss company has been named as BIG InvestConsult with partner Deep Ocean Technology.

Plans have already been developed for the futuristic saucer-shaped buildings.

Drydocks has not confirmed when the first hotel will be built.
